Nottingham Riverside Festival 2009 - Performance
Friday 31st July & Saturday 1st August from 7:45 - 9:00pm

We have 2 performances to include 'The Fox' Routine, 'Shim Sham', Jam Circles, Steals and general messing around followed by a 30 minute class for (un)willing ;-) members of the audience. Rehersals throughout July on Thursdays & Sundays from 7pm - 9pm (shared cost of room) at the Festival Inn - all comers welcome...

Bakewell Day Of Dance 2009 - Performance

All dancers welcome to Bakewell Day Of Dance, Derbyshire - a celebration of Dance styles from across the world. This is an outdoor event with multiple displays going on throughout the day. We have 2 performances at 12:30 at the Crescent, the at 2:00 at the Riverside Garden.

Lindy Workshop with Dan Guest
Sunday 7th June 1:30 - 6:30pm

Book Now for a day of Lindy Hop workshops with Dan Guest, one of the UKs most highly regarded Swing Dancers - INTERNATIONAL Teacher, choreographer & performer for Team Competiion & TV.
Classes start from 1:30pm for Improvers, then 2:30pm for Intermediates, then 3:30pm for Advanced and cost £25.00 until 15th May, rising to £30.00 until 25th May.
Prices include 3 x 45 minute workshop + Evening Meal (if booked before 2nd June) + Evening Dance with Band - so book early to guarantee your place and a great deal...

Dance Night with Live Band
Sunday 7th June 8pm - 11pm

Tony Farrells fabulous 10pc Swing Band 'Easy Does It' will be playing a Swing Dance Night on Sunday June 7th. Doors open for Dancing at 8pm - price £7 on the door.

The band worked closely with Nottingham dancers to develop a set oriented solely towards Swing Dancers - a huge investment in time from the guys and we're pleased to see that they continue to go from strength to strength. The band is fronted by singers Craig and Tashaka Baumber bringing with them a wealth of experience and talent in bucketfuls ;-) Here's a YouTube clip showing an early performance at the Festival:

Sunday 24th May Demo outside Nottingham Castle

Performing to canned music and with Tony Farrells Easy Does It swing band from 13:00 - 17:00, All dancers welcome, treat as a social dance with gusto ;-) pubs are nearby for refreshment - weather is good, but performing under a large marquee, so rain won't stop play.
